Plenty of goals

 

The Ardal Northern Leagues started with plenty of goals and spectators (thankfully)

In the Ardal Northwest there were five games with twenty-four goals.

In a ding-dong game at Brickfield Rangers, Llanuwchllyn came out on top with an odd goal in seven successes, Joe Evans netting the decider

Porthmadog also scored four on their travels, winning four nil at Saltney Town with Matty Jones netting three including a penalty

Another side to net four was Mold Alex who beat visitors Llandudno Albion four two with Danny Warren getting a couple

In a five-goal game at Blaenau Ffestiniog Brymbo returned home with the spoils with an odd goal in five wins

The fasted goal of the day was scored at Rhostyllen where a twenty yarder from Y Felinheli's Gavin Lloyd-Jones found the top corner, Rhosyllen equalised after seventy minutes through Lee McBurnley and they almost claimed three points only to be denied by the woodwork

The highest scorers in the Ardal Northeast were Corwen who won five nil at Machynlleth, Scott Evans getting two of the goals

There was also six goals at Penycae were visitors Welshpool shared the spoils Substitute Austin getting a late equaliser for Cae

Carno came from behind at home to Four Crosses to finish on the right side of another five-goal game Jack Orbell among the Carno scorers

Caersws and Cefn Albion shared the points in a two all draw Callum Mannion getting both the Cefn goals

Bow Street had the better of visitors Kerry as they gained the points in a three one win, Iolo Ap Dafydd scoring two penalties for Bow Street

Josh Astley was the days highest scorer has he netted all fpur goals in Llanfair United's home success against Penparcau

Corwen returned the days biggest away win five one at Machynlleth with Scott Evans getting a hatrick
