The FAW is proud to launch FAW Fair Play Weekend 2025/26,
Taking place from Friday, 31 October to Sunday, 2 November 2025 across all National League clubs.
This dedicated weekend celebrates the importance of respect, discipline and togetherness across the Welsh football community, from players and coaches to officials and supporters. It reinforces a simple but powerful message – football in Wales should always be played in the right spirit.
What is FAW Fair Play?
The FAW Fair Play campaign promotes the core message of Fair Play throughout Welsh football. It aims to inspire players, clubs, match officials and supporters to maintain good on-field discipline, follow the Laws of the Game, and show respect to all members of the Welsh Football Family.
The initiative also supports the wider FAW PAWB Values campaign, which highlights the organisation’s core principles of Respect, Excellence and Family, ensuring that football in Wales remains a game for everyone, where everyone feels valued and supported.
Recognising Positive Behaviour
To encourage positive behaviour and uphold the FAW Fair Play Code, the FAW recognises and rewards clubs that take proactive steps to reduce on-field misconduct.
Each month, the FAW publishes National Leagues Fair Play Tables, measuring teams’ disciplinary records across the Genero Adran Leagues, JD Cymru Leagues and Ardal Leagues.
At the end of the season, the clubs who top their respective tables receive the prestigious FAW Fair Play Award, along with a £1,200 prize to reinvest in improving their club.
Celebrating the 2024/25 Fair Play Award Winners
Llongyfarchiadau to all FAW Fair Play Award winners for the 2024/25 season on their outstanding achievements in promoting respect and good discipline on the pitch.
Special recognition goes to Caerau Ely FC, who have now won their category for three consecutive seasons, while CPD Y Felinheli and Pure Swansea both celebrate back-to-back Fair Play honours.

How the FAW Fair Play Tables Work
Fair Play rankings are calculated based on the disciplinary record of players and team officials, using a points system:
– Yellow card: 4 points
– Red card (depending on offence): 10–12 points
Clubs can also receive reductions to their disciplinary points if they can demonstrate initiatives that actively promote fair play throughout the season, such as community engagement, respect campaigns, or positive matchday initiatives.
