Cefn Albion Football Club have announced the return of Sean Jones as the interim First Team Manager, Sean, who previously managed the club from 2019 to 2022

In a club statement the club revealed they had received substantial interest in the vacant managerial position without actively advertising it. However earlier this week they considered the best way forward, it became clear that Sean was the unanimous choice to step into the role on an interim basis

On his decision to step back in Sean said, “Firstly I would like to extend my appreciation to Ashy for his efforts at the club over the past six months. While things haven't unfolded as we had hoped, I genuinely wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

On a personal note, I am delighted to step back into the role as the first-team manager at the Albion. Despite feeling like I've never truly been away, the decision to step up when asked was a straightforward one for me. I have a good understanding of the current players and recognise the immense potential within our group, it’s my goal to try and bring out the best in them"
